Brief

The brief for the category was to design a small garden using one of the five human senses as the main theme.

‘Inner scents’ was a contemporary garden which focused on the sense of smell. It linked this theme to the basic idea of what is at the route of the five human senses and what is inside all of us. Jasmine coiled around and climbed up the two DNA strands in the sculpture. The plants‘ different aromas were more prominent at different times of the day and gave strong scents well into the evening.
